​Entering Guidelines

• Entering the competition is FREE. 

• All participants are assumed to be 18 years old or older. If you are under the legal age of an adult, you must have a guardian that represents you in order to receive the prizes.

• The 2023 Graffiti Spray-Off Competition will be accepting and judging based off lettering and/or word-art only. Mural hybrids are accepted but would be considered after lettering.

• Only pieces in the states of Oregon/Washington would be eligible for prizes.

Definitions

• "Wall Art" are pieces done on physical walls, typically with paint rollers or spray cans.

• "Blackbook" are pieces done on paper or digitally, with little to no physical paint.

• "Canvas" are pieces done on a canvas, typically spray painted or painted. Artwork done on a canvas would be judged on a case by case scenario.

Judging Guidelines

• There would be 4 judges from diverse backgrounds judging the art pieces. Our judges consist of:​​

  • A Graffiti Artist​

  • An Arts Institution Representative

  • A Community Member

  • A Gnauhi Representative

•  Judges would rate based off 4 categories:​​

  • Attentiveness to Detail​

  • Expression of Art Piece

  • Uniqueness in Style

  • Color Choice

• Winners would be announced on this page, email, and text if provided a phone number.

​Prize

• Prize money would be given in Cash according to the state amount:

  • $300 Graffiti/Street Art​

  • $100 Blackbook Graffiti (Notebook)

  • $50/each on each category.

• A trophy would be awarded for the Grand Prize winners.

• All prize winners would receive a Prize Edition Keychain and would be invited for a photo and an interview for their craft.

Privacy Policy

Anonymity and privacy are one of our top concerns for those who wish to stay anonymous. We will never reveal your name, face, voice, location of artwork without your permission. 

​

Entering this competition means Gnauhi will assume you allow your artwork to be shared on our website and among community members. In order to be eligible for the Prizes, you must allow Gnauhi to post your artwork on their website, and use your artwork as a promotion to our future competitions in the future. Gnauhi may also use your artwork to promote awareness and the movement of graffiti artists. Gnauhi will not use your artwork for store merchandise without your permission and a sperate contract.
